The Comment Codes screen is used to enter the list of codes used to categorize comments in the Observation Data window.  Use of Comment Codes is optional.  You can disable the use of Comment Codes in the Application Settings window.

 

To create a new Comment Code, click on the New button then enter a 3-character abbreviation in the Code field then type a description in the Comment Code field.  Click the Save button to save the Comment Code.

 

Use the Edit button to modify existing Comment Codes.

 

If the number of items displayed on any variable screen exceeds the number of Rows Per Page specified, Paging functionality will be enabled at the bottom of the screen.
